Working in tandem with certified hearing interpreters, they deliver smooth, consistent, accurate and effective communication, especially for the most complex of topics. Owner of ASL Connetions Bonnie Goben, CDI, M.S. is a native Kansan, having graduated from the Kansas School for the Deaf. She attended Gallaudet University for her Bachelors degree in Psychology and Lamar University for her Master degree in Deaf Studies/Deaf Education.

Communication Access Realtime Translation (CART) provides access for deaf and hard of hearing viewers, those for whom English is not their primary language or other attendees who might have difficulty hearing by offering immediate, verbatim, streaming of voice-to-text translation at events, conferences, classes, public hearings and other events.

Genevieve Casey has grown and lived in the Kansas City area for half of a century. She is a photographer who uses ambient light and existing conditions to capture the beauty that exists in sometimes ordinary, and sometimes extraordinary settings. Having worked in public health and addictions for much of her adult life, she has seen the impact of stress on body and soul. Her photographic work is an outgrowth of her observation that finding ways to experience mindfulness and gratitude in our daily lives is essential for wellness. Genevieve’s photography is about taking your time to slowing down and notice the details and observe the interesting and the beautiful everywhere. She enjoys balancing her time witnessing the peacefulness of nature and the energy of human interaction. Whether photographing people, events, nature, or abandoned buildings, she prefers using ambient light and looking for different angles and perspectives to view her subjects.
