Springing Forward with Strategies to Manage Your Time and Workload

February 2024

Time management is the conscious process of organizing and planning activities to maximize efficiency and efficacy. Research shows that effective time management is a key indication of higher performance, lowers feelings of anxiety, and positively impacts academic achievement.

In February, 75.9% of students who responded identified prioritizing tasks as an effective strategy, with 92% of those students also selecting breaking tasks into manageable parts or using a planner.

While a number of factors affect academic performance, students’ perceived control of time has a significant correlation to increased productivity and success.
